Space Systems
SPACEBEL develops various software for Space systems. The first type is the software that will operate the satellite (or launcher) in Space: it must manage the communication with the ground and control all the equipment on board. In order to validate the software before sending it into Space, SPACEBEL develops simulation tools. Modelling all satellite equipment as well as the satellite's movements in Space, such tools are used to introduce faults and test the reaction of the flight software. They also serve for training the operators who will manage the satellite from the ground. SPACEBEL also provides the software which operators use to monitor and control the satellite from the ground. Using such software, procedures can be written and communicated to the satellite for execution by the flight software.
